I am a trained counsellor in Humanistic Gestalt Counselling, living and working in Winchester. I have worked as a therapist for a local counselling service and also at a local college for several years. I have had extensive experience working with complex young people in other settings over the last six years. My practice is based in Winchester but I can provide therapy for surrounding areas such as Alresford, Andover, Basingstoke, Chandlers Ford, Eastleigh, Romsey, Salisbury and Southampton.
I endeavour to provide good quality therapy whilst making you feel comfortable and at ease. My type of counselling is based on empathy, building rapport and listening without judgement. I practice in an humanistic way using creative approaches tailored to an individuals need. I work flexibly to support a client in which ever way they need. I consider myself a warm and positive person who is passionate about emotional health and well-being particularly for young people. I enjoy working with a wide range of people and have experience of counselling all age groups.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and I work within the principles of their Ethical Framework.
